VENDOR TRAINING MANAGER 


SUMMARY STATEMENT 

Include: •Identifying and assessing future and current training needs •Drawing an overall or individualized training and development plan •Deploying a wide variety of training methods Develops and distributes effective communication pieces, training materials and documentation, including printed, on-line and interactive electronic mediums. Maintains consistent standards of quality for coursework, trainer materials and documentation created by the training department. Serves as a point person for questions regarding on-going training projects.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES 


TTS Careers has opportunities for experienced training and development managers to devise our organizational and course training strategy, oversee its implementation and assess its outcomes. You will identify training and developmental needs and drive suitable training initiatives that build loyalty to the firm. Training managers work across many departments to get employees up to speed in both their specific vertical, and the overall needs of the company. Training managers often have backgrounds in business, leadership, human resources, development and education. Training manager responsibilities include enhancing employees’ skills, performance, productivity and quality of work.
•Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, career paths, annual performance appraisals and consultation with line managers •Draw an overall or individualized training and development plan that addresses needs and expectations •Deploy a wide variety of training methods •Conduct effective induction and orientation sessions •Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them •Manage training budget •Provide opportunities for ongoing development •Resolve any specific problems and tailor training programs as necessary •Maintain a keen understanding of training trends, developments and best practices  

SKILLS, EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE 


College degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Education, Instructional Design, or related field 
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel 
Training experience (adult learning and technical skill training) preferred 
At least 3-4 years Instructional Design or Communications experience 
Advanced skills in online development tools like Macromedia Flash, Authorware, or Articulate 
Knowledge of Instructional Design methodologies and adult learning theories 
Ability to present information and conduct meetings 
Comfortable speaking in front of groups 
Ability to work under pressure and/or for extended hours 
Attentive to details 
Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and problem-solving skills 
Ability to multi-task 
Ability to listen to and respond to customers needs 
Ability to remain flexible at all times
