Office Assistant Customer Service/Office Assistant
Responsibilities
Maintain files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible
Answer the phone to take messages or redirect calls to appropriate colleagues
Utilize office appliances such as photocopier, printers etc. and computers for word processing, spreadsheet creation etc.
Take customer orders and fulfill them by pulling parts for orders, boxing/packaging orders, creating shipping labels.
Basic bookkeeping tasks such as issue invoices, take customer payments, etc.
Assist in making travel arrangements
Light office cleaning
Perform other office duties as assigned
Requirements
Proven experience as office clerk or other clerical position
Working knowledge of office devices and processes
Very good knowledge of MS Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
Excellent communication skills
Strong customer service skills
Very good organizational and multi-tasking abilities
Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
High school diploma
Bilingual not necessary but is a plus
