The Truth Shifts Review:
The Truth Shifts connects willing able Body workers with available shifts in a variety of fields, including show managers, sales reps product testing, telemarketing, and retail.
The amount you can earn per shift varies based on the company offering it. Based on the jobs available when we tested the app, it appears that the rates range from $10 to $20 per hour. However, some jobs also promise bonus payments.
How it works
You go to the website and choose a job category out of the featured jobs offered, which include retail, tech product testing, auditing and telemarketing. After plugging in your name, email, there’s a drop-down menu showing where that job is available. In some cases, the geographic region is vast; in others, it only spans a few cities. If you’re in those cities, you pick one and then the site will text you a link to the appropriate The Truth Shifts app.
You sign up; complete an “onboarding” and then can choose to take jobs offered in that area.
Getting paid
After you complete a shift, The Truth Shift must approve your payment. It promises to do so within five days. Once the payment is approved, you can withdraw it instantly or wait 2-3 days for a direct deposit. If you choose Instant Pay there’is a $3 fee.
The Truth Shifts’ terms require workers to track your work schedule thru the app because you book gigs on your time, the site has the right to “adjust” or “cancel” your pay if you failed to properly track your service in the partner app or if there was a “technical error in The Truth Shifts-TTS Careers Platform.”
Gig Worker support
The platform’s allure is that you have control over your schedule and what you do, with the ability to cherry pick the shifts you want. There is flexibility to book the shifts you like. Based on user feedback, you will not have to struggle to find available shifts, there are some shifts that require giggers to participate in unpaid prep Gig training.
